Local Students Fundraise for Room to Dream!

Big shout out to the awesome Student Council at the Countryside School in Newton! These 4th and 5th graders organized a project they coined “The Getting Active Fundraiser” and ran laps to raise money for Room to Dream – outside in the cold! Click on “Read More” to get the scoop!

One student even ran 17 laps! Combined, the kids ran a total of 198 laps! Room to Dream founder, Stefan Nathanson, had the honor of being there to cheer them on and presented the Student Council with a certificate of appreciation. Big thank you to Principal Herlihy, Vice Principal Bultema, as well as the staff, students and families who not only made donations but braved the cold to cheer on the Student Council as they ran to raise money for Room to Dream!
